MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) allows you to provide a complete mobile service with your own brand and price plans, without owning any infrastructure.

There are several hundred MVNOs. So far, we have helped create more than 60 worldwide. They are the perfect answer to extend your existing brand on the device most trusted by your customers. Of course you could do this with an App but you would be competing with dozens of other Apps on your customer’s phone. Also, an MVNO allows you to totally control your customers’ mobile plan: You could provide them service for free, context-based offers, retail loyalty incentives, or for business users seamless converged fixed/mobile services. Business Planning & Financial Models

We build a detailed financial Excel model based on your specific pricing, customer volumes, operational costs, etc. The financial model will show you your gross margin, profitability, cashflow and payback period. We give you the entire operational model which you can later use as your operational P&L tracker. Our model for MVNO is so advanced that a number of MNOs & carriers have started using it for their own MVNO business!

High-Level Market Validation

We help you assess your total addressable market with a high-level review of your competitors, we check their pricing, and the likely number of customers that you will be able to attract for a mobile plan at a given price point.

Market Research

We can run very detailed market research to validate the exact take up rates for an MVNO or new product launch. Market research will survey a large statistically relevant number of potential customers (often 1000-plus) and ask them very specific questions about their product features preference including data allowances, data speeds, pricing, devices etc. We use very advanced market research methods such as Conjoint testing or Max-Diff testing which will give you very detailed answers within a +/-5% margin of error. This will allow you to significantly de-risk a new mobile service launch and play out multiple pricing scenarios to fine-tune your offer.

MVNO Types

MVNO Architecture Design

Negotiations with Carriers/MNOs & Suppliers

Getting the right MVNO deal and especially the right data rates that reduce over time and with data usage volume, is critical for the financial success of your MVNO. We run the complete RFP cycle for you: We issue RFPs to competing providers, we review their offers and negotiate with them until the goals that we have agreed with you are met. We then help you execute the contracts with the suppliers. As we are 100% independent, we will never steer you towards one supplier, and we will make sure that you are getting the best available deal for your custom requirements.

Project Management & Operations

Once your supplier contracts are in place, we will provide you with a dedicated project management resource that will ensure on a day by day basis that all components of the project are being progressed on time and on budget.
